Ukrainian delegation reminds PACE about occupied Crimea
The delegation of Ukraine in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is holding a series of events aimed at covering the situation in the occupied Crimea.
Vice-President of the PACE, MP of the People’s Front Party faction Georgii Logvynskyi said this during the live broadcast from Strasbourg on the air of ICTV channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We are holding a really large-scale event, including roundtables on the human rights situation in the occupied territories, exhibitions of paintings, presentation of the Hybrid War book. However, the most important event is the ‘Crimean evening’, where we convey the atmosphere of the Crimea to the Parliamentary Assembly, we actually transfer the PA directly to Crimea so that people could not only hear but also feel the current situation in our country and understand how the Crimean Tatars feel in the status of hostages," he said.
According to him, representatives of the Mejlis will attend the mentioned events.
