Most Ukrainians consider road repairs most positive change in 2017 – survey

Most Ukrainians say that repairs of road surface is the most notable positive change in 2017. 

These are the results of a survey presented by Deputy Director of the Sociological Service of the Razumkov Center Mykhailo Mishchenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Among positive changes, respondents named road repairs in their region - 44.9% of those polled," Mishchenko said.

In addition, 27% of those polled named the increase in pension, and almost the same number of respondents noted improved living conditions in cities and villages, said the expert.

At the same time, 30.7% of those polled said that "nothing positive has happened." Most often, this option was chosen by residents of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, Mishchenko said.

The survey was conducted jointly by the Center of Social and Marketing Research SOCIS, Razumkov Center, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, and Rating Sociological Group. Some 20,000 persons were interviewed from October 28 through November 14.
