Kremlin propagandist Phillips attacks Ukraine's ambassador in Austria

Ukraine's Ambassador to Austria Alexander Scherba has said that pro-Kremlin propagandist Graham Phillips was trying to provoke him to a fight outside the building of the Ukrainian embassy.

The diplomat wrote this on his Facebook page.

According to the ambassador, Phillips came to the Ukrainian diplomatic mission on Monday and filmed his next provocative video. When Scherba came up to him and wanted to talk, he first got confused and then began to insult the diplomat, pushing him and provoking a fight. In particular, according to the ambassador, the propagandist called him a fascist.

"He will not say any longer that I was hiding from him," Scherba said.

At the same time, he apologized to everyone who advised him not to deal with Phillips.

"Understand me, at least somebody should at least once have come up to him and say what he looks like. And he looks like a little creature that feeds on hatred, malice and war. He would be nothing without this hatred, malice and war. He is nothing. I passed this message to him. From all of us," Scherba wrote.

Earlier, Phillips said he was creating his own list of Ukrainian officials who "openly support terrorism." He also included Scherba in the list.

Phillips is a Briton known for his propaganda videos for Russian TV channels Russia Today and Zvezda, in which he expressed support for Russian-backed militants in Donbas. He carries out various provocations against Ukraine in the Kremlin's interests.

One of his latest provocations was an act of desecration at the grave of OUN leader Stepan Bandera in Munich, Germany, on October 15. He tore off the Ukrainian flags at the gravesite and attached a banner with the inscription "Ukrainian Nazi Stepan Bandera Buried Here" to the grave cross.
