Israeli police officers arrive in Uman
Twenty police officers from Israel have arrived in Uman, Cherkasy region, the press service of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry has reported.
"Together with Ukrainian law enforcement officers, they will serve in places of compact residence and pilgrimage of Breslov Hasidic Jews," the report reads.
In particular, during a joint briefing, the head of the consolidated detachment of law enforcers, Serhiy Dovhyi, stressed the need for quality service, compliance with law, security rules and a polite attitude to citizens.
This year, Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, will be celebrated from September 29 to October 1.
