Ukraine starts preparations for another evacuation of its citizens from China – Kuleba
The Ukrainian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Infrastructure have started preparations for another evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from China.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this at a briefing on March 12, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The Foreign Ministry, together with the Infrastructure Ministry, is launching preparations for the second evacuation of our citizens from China," he said.
The minister has said that according to the information provided by the Embassy of Ukraine in China, 10 of 41 Ukrainian nationals in Wuhan have requested evacuation from China.
Kuleba has also called on those Ukrainians who wish to leave Wuhan to address the embassy, which will approve the final evacuation lists.
As Ukrinform reported, the Ukrainian government spent UAH 4.5 million in budget funds for the evacuation of Ukrainians and their families from Wuhan, which took place on February 20.
