Ukrainian rapper Alyona Alyona, tennis player Elina Svitolina and three tech entrepreneurs have been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.
“At a time of great global uncertainty, it is hard to see beyond the doom and gloom. Fortunately, our fifth annual Under 30 Europe list delivers a much needed dose of optimism. Here we highlight the young visionary leaders brashly reinventing business and society,” reads the foreword to the list.
Rapper Alyona Alyona (Alyona Savranenko) is included in the Entertainment category.
“The former kindergarden teacher is redefining what a rapper looks and sounds like. Alyona Alyona, as she goes by on stage, is introducing Ukrainian rap to the world. She has toured all over Europe and is one of her country's top artists,” Forbes writes.

“Svitolina is a regular in the late rounds of Grand Slam tournaments and has amassed 14 WTA singles titles, including the trophy at the 2018 WTA Finals. She's been ranked as high as No. 3 in the WTA rankings and is endorsed by Nike. She also began the Elina Svitolina Foundation in 2019, which helps create opportunities through scholarships, camps, after-school programs and special events,” her profile says.
The list also includes three more successful Ukrainian entrepreneurs in the Technology category: Anna Polishchuk and Stas Matviyenko, cofounders of Allset platform that allows diners to pre-order and pre-pay meals to save them time; and Victoria Repa, cofounder and CEO of Kyiv-based health and fitness apps BetterMe that have over 50 million installs and 400 thousand paid subscriptions.
