Ukraine confirms 41 coronavirus cases
As of 10:00 on March 21, Ukraine confirmed 41 cases of COVID-19. Fifteen new cases were detected in the last 24 hours.
"As of 10:00 on March 21, Ukraine had 41 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, three of which were lethal. One patient recovered and was already discharged from the hospital. Fifteen new cases were confirmed in last 24 hours," the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports.
To date, coronavirus cases were confirmed in: Chernivtsi region - 25 cases (1 lethal, 1 recovery); Zhytomyr region - 2 cases (1 lethal); Kyiv region - 3 cases; Donetsk region - 1 case; Dnipropetrovsk region - 2 cases; Ivano-Frankivsk region - 2 cases (1 lethal); Lviv region -1 case; Ternopil region - 1 case; Kharkiv region - 1 case; Kyiv city - 3 cases.
“The tests were conducted at the virus reference laboratory of the Public Health Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the regional laboratories. On March 21, the Public Health Centre has received 80 suspected cases of Covid-19. Since the beginning of 2020, 450 reports on suspected coronavirus cases have been received,” the statement reads.
