Rinat Akhmetov Foundation transfers 300,000 Covid-19 test kits to Health Ministry

Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has transferred 300,000 coronavirus test kits to the Health Ministry of Ukraine.

“Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has joined the Health Ministry’s initiative on the cooperation with the business. The organization has transferred 300,000 express test kits to detect Covid-19. Tests will be distributed among state hospitals across Ukraine and used only free of charge,” the press service of the Health Ministry wrote on Facebook.

In addition, it is planned to purchase at least 200 ventilators and other equipment for hospitals.

As of 9 a.m. on April 7, Ukraine had 1,462 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases, including 45 deaths.
