Kuleba presents ‘gift to Ukraine’ for 30th anniversary of independence
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has presented the Ukraine.ua website, a digital platform about modern Ukraine for an international audience.
The presentation took place during a briefing on January 14, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“This is a gift from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2021, when our state celebrates the 30th anniversary of its independence. We managed to get the Ukraine.ua domain under the control and management of the state, and not of individuals or companies. Under this address there is a website telling the world about Ukraine. The site was created based on the Ukraine NOW visual brand. We will support this platform with high quality and professionalism," Kuleba said.
He said that the site has Explore, Invest and Study sections that will help users get to know Ukraine online and decide whether to visit, invest or come to study to the country. It is planned to open another section entitled Happening now, where information will be posted on all the key events that are taking place in Ukraine, in particular about festivals, cultural events, forums, books and others.
"The Ukraine.ua website should become a magnet for foreign tourists, businessmen and students. All this is done to attract additional attention to Ukraine and promote our country in the world and strengthen its authority," the minister stressed.
Kuleba added that the platform will be managed by the Ukrainian Institute at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The site is currently presented in English, while French, German, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese language versions will be added during 2021.
