Kuleba believes some travel restrictions to be lifted in summer

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba says it is now impossible to predict the exact date of opening of the borders, but some travel restrictions may be lifted by the summer.

He said this at the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Coronavirus: Challenges and Answers" in Kyiv on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I can assume that some travel restrictions will be lifted by other countries in summer, and Ukrainians will be able to take advantage of this,” Kuleba said.

At the same time, he stressed that it is now impossible to predict when the border crossing restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic will be completely lifted.

In addition, Kuleba assured that the Foreign Ministry is constantly working to expand the list of countries to which Ukrainians can go.

He recalled that Ukrainians can check the current conditions of entry and transit to a particular country using an interactive online map on the website of the Foreign Ministry.
