Ukraine to switch to paperless regime on August 24 – Zelensky
On August 24, 2021, Ukraine will switch to a so-called paperless regime, when public services will be provided using digital tools.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during the All-Ukrainian Forum “Ukraine 30. Digitalization” on Monday, May 17, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"On August 24, 2021, Ukraine will switch to a paperless regime, as we promised. No papers for state bodies. No one will be able to demand from a citizen of Ukraine a piece of paper or any certificates to provide public services," the head of state emphasized.
He assured that everything will be done so that a paperless state does exist without paper.
In October 2020, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that starting from 2021, Ukraine will begin to implement a "paperless regime" when public authorities no longer require citizens to provide paper certificates or other documents to receive public services.
In January 2021, Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine will switch to a paperless regime on September 1.
