Only one region in Ukraine remains in ‘orange’ zone

As of May 19, Donetsk region remains in the “orange” zone of the COVID-19 quarantine, Ukrinform reports with reference to data published on the Health Ministry’s website.

The epidemic threshold in the region amounted to 101.5%. As of May 18, the COVID-19-associated hospitalization rate in the region was 41.3 (with established 60 per 100,000 people). The rate for occupancy of oxygen-supplied beds was 43.3% (with the established capacity set at 65%).

Kyiv city and other regions remain in the “yellow” zone.

No region exceeded the rates for COVID-19-associated hospitalizations and occupancy of oxygen-supplied beds.

As Ukrinform reported, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution on the extension of adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until June 30, with four levels of epidemic danger.
