Ukraine, Slovakia hope to resume tourist trips in summer
Ukraine and Slovakia hope to be able to ensure the mobility of their citizens during the summer tourist season.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said this after a meeting with Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger in Kyiv on May 28, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Given the improvement of the epidemiological situation in our countries, we hope that we will be able to ensure the mobility of our citizens during the summer tourist season," Shmyhal said.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the countries' counteraction to the spread of coronavirus infection, and agreed that both countries had showed solidarity and support to each other in this matter.
Prime Minister of Slovakia Eduard Heger is on an official visit to Ukraine on Friday, May 28.
