Cabinet allows vaccinated foreigners to enter Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers has allowed foreigners entering the territory of Ukraine, in addition to PCR tests, to provide COVID-19 antigen tests or a vaccination certificate.

This was stipulated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of June 2, published on June 7, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Government portal.

In addition to the antigen test, foreigners can provide a document confirming the completion of the full course of vaccination against COVID-19 with drugs included in the WHO list of approved ones for use in emergency.

On June 7, the Cabinet of Ministers eased quarantine restrictions in Ukraine by allowing holding mass events, including in entertainment and catering establishments.

As of June 8, Ukraine recorded 1,602 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,216,654.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, which started on February 24, 1,241,008 people have been vaccinated, of which 147,118 people have received two doses.
