Kyiv reports more than 800 new COVID-19 cases
Kyiv city recorded 802 new coronavirus cases on October 6, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 238,139, Klitschko wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 458 women aged 18-92 years, 270 men aged 18-88 years, 36 girls aged between five months and 17 years, and 38 boys aged between four months and 17 years.
On October 5, 13 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv (5,487 in total).
At the same time, 241 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 222,111 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 15,125 new COVID-19 cases on October 6.
