Kyiv reports 721 new COVID-19 cases
Kyiv city recorded 721 new coronavirus cases on October 7, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 238,860, Klitschko wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 384 women aged 18-91 years, 264 men aged 18-95 years, 29 girls aged between three months and 17 years, and 44 boys aged between nine months and 17 years.
On October 7, 16 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv (5,503 in total).
At the same time, 128 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 222,239 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 16,362 new COVID-19 cases on October 7.
