Kyiv reports 525 new COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths

Kyiv city recorded 525 new coronavirus cases on October 15, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

“Some 525 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the capital over the past day. Twenty people have died. In total, 5,646 deaths from the virus have been confirmed in Kyiv since the start of the pandemic. The total number of confirmed cases has reached 243,779,” he wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 296 women aged 18-88 years, 201 men aged 18-93 years, 13 girls aged between two months and 16 years, and 15 boys aged 1-15 years.

At the same time, 323 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 224,243 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 12,983 new COVID-19 cases on October 15.
