Kyiv reports 416 new COVID-19 cases
Kyiv city recorded 416 new coronavirus cases on October 17, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 244,646, he wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 239 women aged 18-94 years, 143 men aged 18-85 years, 15 girls aged 2-17 years, and 19 boys aged between one month and 16 years.
Twenty-two lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 17 (5,686 in total).
At the same time, 229 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 224,570 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 9,524 new COVID-19 cases on October 17.
