Kyiv records 1,192 new COVID-19 cases
Kyiv city recorded 1,192 new coronavirus cases on October 20, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 247,698, he wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 657 women aged 18-92 years, 433 men aged 18-94 years, 64 girls aged 1-17 years, and 38 boys aged between two months and 17 years.
Thirty-nine lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 20 (5,780 in total).
At the same time, 232 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 225,328 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 22,415 new COVID-19 cases on October 20.
