Kyiv records 1,323 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,323 new coronavirus cases on October 21, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 249,021, he wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 757 women aged 18-93 years, 428 men aged 18-93 years, 55 girls aged between one month and 17 years, and 83 boys aged between two months and 17 years.

As many as 44 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 21 (5,824 in total).

At the same time, 277 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 225,605 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 23,785 new COVID-19 cases on October 21.
