At least 16 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to be delivered to Ukraine by year-end
By the end of the year, at least 16 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be delivered to Ukraine, and there are guarantees of supplies for the next two years.
"By the end of the year, at least another 16 million doses of vaccines will be delivered definitely," Minister of Health Viktor Liashko said during the hour of questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He added that there were guarantees for the supply of vaccines for the next two years with clear delivery dates and at a competitive price.
As reported, Ukraine set COVID-19 vaccination record on October 21 with almost 270,000 shots given.
A total of 8,557,659 people have been vaccinated since the campaign started in Ukraine: 8,557,657 people received the first dose and 6,829,174 people received two doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
Over the past day, Ukraine confirmed 23,785 new COVID-19 cases.
