Almost a third of Ukraine’s adults have taken at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine
More than 291,000 COVID-19 shots have been given over the past day. As of now, 30% of Ukraine’s adult population have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
"A record 291,293 COVID-19 shots have been given in Ukraine over the past day. We have reached the figure of 30% of the adult population who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine," Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Liashko said at a briefing on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.
According to the minister, all vaccines used in Ukraine are approved by the WHO, safe, high-quality and highly effective against severe disease or death.
"The best vaccine is the one available to you," he said.
As reported, over the past 24 hours, on October 26, 22,574 coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine.
