Kyiv records 1,616 new COVID-19 cases
Kyiv city recorded 1,616 new coronavirus cases on October 28, Ukrinform reports, referring to the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
"A total of 1,616 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the capital over the past day. Forty-six people died. Since the start of the pandemic, 6,076 deaths from the virus have been recorded in Kyiv. The total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 257,404,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 882 women aged 18-95 years, 604 men aged 18-93 years, 59 girls aged between four days and 17 years, and 71 boys aged between 19 days and 17 years.
At the same time, 625 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 228,276 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 26,870 new COVID-19 cases on October 28.
