Ukraine has 9M doses of COVID-19 vaccines - Shmyhal
Ukraine currently has nine million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, and 19 million more doses will be delivered to the country by the end of the year, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
He said this at a briefing as part of a working visit to Volyn region on Friday, October 29, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Currently, there are nine million doses in warehouses and vaccination points," Shmyhal said.
He added that almost 19 million more doses of vaccines are to be delivered to Ukraine by the end of the year. "Vaccination, social distancing and wearing face masks indoors saves from the pandemic," Shmyhal said.
He also called on Ukrainians to get vaccinated and added that all vaccines being used in Ukraine are safe and reliable.
