Over 87% educators in Ukraine received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine
In Ukraine, 87.3% of educators have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet.
“More than 730,000 nursery teachers, school teachers, vocational teachers, employees of colleges, universities and other educational institutions have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 87.3% of our country's educators have received one dose of COVID-19 vaccine,” Shkarlet wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the highest vaccination rates were recorded among educators in Mykolaiv region - 93.6%; Kyiv region - 92.8%; Kharkiv region - 92.5%; Donetsk region - 92.1%; and Ternopil region - 90.3%.
According to data provided by the Ministry of Health as of November 1, 17,695,591 COVID-19 vaccination doses have been administered in Ukraine since the launch of the vaccination campaign. In particular, 10,245,773 people received their first dose and 7,449,818 people received both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
