Kyiv schools to reopen on Nov 22 – Klitschko

Kyiv schools will reopen for all pupils from Monday, November 22, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has announced.

"The city's commission on emergency situations has approved a decision to resume full-time education in the capital's schools from next Monday, November 22. For pupils of all grades," he wrote on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Klitschko has earlier stated that if COVID-19 incidence continues to decline in Kyiv, then primary school pupils will return to school next week.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 18,668 new COVID-19 cases on November 16. Since the start of the pandemic, 3,263,417 people in Ukraine have contracted COVID-19, 2,684,584 have recovered, and 78,754 have died.
