Kyiv records 1,782 new COVID-19 cases
Kyiv city recorded 1,782 new coronavirus cases on November 18, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the capital has reached 285,662, he wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 1,021 women aged 18-94 years, 623 men aged 18-90 years, 63 girls aged between 28 days and 17 years, and 75 boys aged between two months and 17 years.
As many as 41 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on November 18 (7,096 in total).
According to Klitschko, 132 patients with coronavirus, 210 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on November 18.
At the same time, 1,049 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 243,435 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 20,050 new COVID-19 cases on November 18.
