COVID-19 in Kyiv: 431 new daily cases, 45 fatalities - Klitschko
In the past 24 hours, as of the morning of November 29, health officials in Kyiv confirmed 431 COVID-19 cases.
That’s according to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, Ukrinform reports referring to his Facebook page.
This brings the total number of coronavirus cases registered in the country’s capital to 297,173.
According to Klitschko, among those who contracted COVID-19 in the past day were 234 female patients aged 19 to 93 years, 164 male patients aged 18 to 89 years, as well as 33 minors, including 21 girls aged 1 to 16 years and 12 boys aged 9 months to 16 years.
"Most cases were recorded in Sviatoshynskyi (98), Dniprovskyi (63), and Solomyanskyi (57) districts," Klitschko reported.
Also in the past 24 hours, Kyiv saw 45 coronavirus-related fatalities, bringing a total to 7,493.
Among those who died are 28 women aged 50 to 93, 16 men aged 47 to 86, as well as a 4-month infant.
Sixty-five patients with coronavirus and 116 with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were admitted to the capital's hospitals on Sunday.
Also, 252 people recovered (253,635 since the onset of the pandemic).
As Ukrinform reported earlier, 5,804 new coronavirus cases were reported across Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
