Ukraine to attract EUR 58M from EIB for EU4Skills program
Ukraine will raise EUR 58 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to scale the results of the EU4Skills program to create centers of professional excellence.
Deputy Minister for European Integration Oleksiy Shkuratov said this at the seventh meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee, Ukrinform reports, referring to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
"In order to scale the results of the EU4Skills program in terms of creating centers of professional excellence, Ukraine plans to attract EUR 58 million from the European Investment Bank," he said.
According to Shkuratov, the signing of the financial agreement is planned for December as part of the sixth Eastern Partnership summit.
As Ukrinform reported, the seventh meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee took place in Brussels on November 29-30. The Committee discussed the progress made in the implementation of the Association Agreement and further prospects for reforms in Ukraine.
