OSCE spots armed militant at disengagement site near Zolote
The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission on December 12 observed two militants of Russian occupation forces inside the disengagement area near Zolote, one of whom was armed with an AK-74 assault rifle, according to daily report No. 292/2021 published by the SMM on December 13.
"On 12 December, while positioned on the southern edge of the disengagement area [near Zolote], the SMM observed two members of the armed formations (wearing armbands with “JCCC” written on them) inside the area and walking out of it in a southerly direction, one of whom was armed with a long-barrelled weapon, assessed as an assault rifle AK-74," the report said.
On the same day, outside the disengagement area, about 740m west of the intersection on the area's southern edge, about 20m north of the road leading west towards Molodizhne (non-government-controlled, 63km north-west of Luhansk), the SMM "observed a white antenna with a receiver (not previously reported), attached to a tree and connected to a wire hanging down to the ground, assessed as belonging to armed formations."
