Almost 114,000 Ukrainians vaccinated against COVID-19 over past day

Over the past day, December 23, 113,882 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Ukraine.

As the Ministry of Health posted on Facebook, 36,546 people received the first dose, 76,543 people got fully vaccinated, and 793 people received an additional dose.

Vaccination was carried out by 864 mobile teams, 3,331 vaccination points and 458 vaccination centers.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine, 14,537,066 people have been vaccinated, of whom 14,537,064 people received the first dose, 13,296,090 people got fully vaccinated (received two doses), and 1,389 people received an additional dose.

Thus, according to the Ministry of Health, 46.8% of the adult population of Ukraine has received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. At the same time, 42.8% of the adult population are fully vaccinated. According to WHO recommendations, the share of vaccinated people in the world should reach 40% by the end of the year.

As of December 24, Ukraine reported 3,637,038 COVID-19 cases, including 6,647 cases registered over the past 24 hours.
