U.S. Embassy congratulates Ukrainians on Christmas

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has wished Ukrainians a Merry Christmas.

The diplomatic mission posted the Christmas greeting on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Merry Christmas to those celebrating! Wishing you and yours peace, health and happiness this season," the tweet reads.

Eastern Rite Christians celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar on January 7.
