Five regions remain in Covid-19 red zone, two regions in yellow zone – Health Ministry
As of February 18, five regions remain in the red zone of epidemiological danger of COVID-19 spread, two regions are in the yellow zone, according to data provided by the Ministry of Health.
The red zone includes Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions. Poltava and Chernivtsi regions remain in the yellow zone. The rest of the regions are in the orange zone of COVID-19 restrictions.
As of February 17, the incidence rate of COVID-19 in Ukraine is 1,204 per 100,000 people, with a designated rate of 75 per 100,000 people. The incidence rate in Kyiv is 1,651 per 100,000 people.
As of February 17, the hospitalization rate across the country is 58, with a designated rate of 60 per 100,000 people. In Kyiv, the hospitalization rate is 53.7 per 100,000 people.
As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine recorded 34,938 new COVID-19 cases on February 17.
