Another 1,200 residents evacuated from Mariupol today

Today, March 22, more than 1,200 people were evacuated from Mariupol, which is constantly shelled by Russian invaders.

"Today we focused on Mariupol direction, where there is the biggest problem, the biggest humanitarian disaster. We managed to evacuate people. Fifteen buses are already in Zaporizhzhia. That's more than 1,200 people who finally have a warm bed, food, medicines. They will be provided with everything they need," Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said during the nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As Ukrinform reported, the number of civilian casualties in Mariupol is growing daily and exceeds 3,000 people as of March 21. The town experiences a humanitarian disaster.
