In Lviv, Angelina Jolie visits children injured in missile strike on Kramatorsk

Hollywood actress, director, model and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie visited a medical facility in Lviv, where children, injured in the missile strike on the Kramatorsk train station, are receiving treatment, talked to volunteers and evacuees.

Maksym Kozytskyi, the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Hollywood actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie... in one of the medical facilities... visited children, who were injured in the Russian missile strike on the train station in Kramatorsk. She was very moved by their stories. One girl even told Ms. Jolie privately about her dream," Kozytskyi said.

In addition, according to him, Jolie visited a boarding school, where she met and took pictures with the pupils, and promised to come again.

The head of the regional administration noted that Jolie also talked to volunteers that provide medical and psychological assistance at Lviv’s main railway station.

Since Russia launched the large-scale invasion into Ukraine, Angelina Jolie has expressed support for Ukraine and Ukrainians, who have been forced to flee their homes because of the war.
