Prince Harry calls Ukrainian medic after her release from captivity

Ukrainian paramedic Yulia Paievska (call sign “Tayra”), who had spent three months in Russian captivity, said that she received a phone call from Prince Harry after her release.

"He [Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex] simply inspired me to continue to fight. He said that he supports Ukraine and all of us,” Paievska told Daily Mail in an interview.

Tayra described being interrogated for three months and being told lies that Ukraine had been eradicated in the invasion.

As reported, Yulia Paievska is a well-known volunteer, paramedic, who was saving the lives of soldiers and civilians in Donbas for eight years. She was captured on March 16. Three months later, on June 17, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the release of Tayra.

Yulia was also a member of Ukraine's team for the Invictus Games, co-founded by Prince Harry.
