Almost 5,000 human rights violations recorded in Crimea during occupation

About 5,000 human rights violations have been recorded in Crimea during the occupation.

"Being aware that the reintegration of Crimea will take place in the context of the all-Ukrainian post-war reconstruction and recovery, we understand that those crimes against humanity, massive and gross violations of human rights that took place on the peninsula during the occupation will be considered by the international tribunal and other international bodies," NGO "Crimean Tatar Resource Center" posted on Facebook.

According to CTRC manager Liudmyla Korotkykh, the Center recorded about 5,000 violations of individual human rights during the occupation of Crimea and these are only the cases known to the CRTC.

As reported, Russia pursues colonial practices in the occupied territories: it colonizes the territory, depletes the resources, uses people as cannon fodder, and then turns the captured and cleared territory into military bases.
