Ukraine's deputy PM, Japan's ambassador discuss need for gadgets for teaching children

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk and Japan's Ambassador to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori have discussed the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians, in particular, gadgets for teaching children.

She said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"We discussed Japan's participation in the humanitarian response in Ukraine. In particular, we need tens of thousands of tablets and laptops so that children who have been forced to leave their homes can study online. The Japanese way of doing business is impressive. Quiet, calm, few words, but effective. We are thankful to our Japanese friends!" Vereshchuk said.
