Court seizes almost UAH 1B worth of assets of Motor Sich management
A court has seized the assets of the management of JSC Motor Sich, valued at almost UAH 1 billion.
That's according to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrinform reports.
"As part of the investigation into criminal proceedings, the assets of the president of JSC Motor Sich and the head of the enterprise's department of foreign economic activities have been seized. The total amount of seized corporate rights and assets - real estate, vehicles and funds of the suspects - is worth almost UAH 1 billion," the report said.
It added that 100% of the corporate rights of PJSC Motor Bank, owned by the head of Motor Sich, as well as stakes in several Ukrainian enterprises, had been seized.
On October 23, the Security Service of Ukraine detained Vyacheslav Bohuslayev, the president of JSC Motor Sich, and the head of the company's department of foreign economic activities. They are suspected of collaborative activities and aiding the aggressor state (Article 111-1, Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
They were detained as part of the criminal proceedings on the illegal supply by Motor Sich of military goods for Russian attack aircraft. According to the investigation, the officials established transnational channels for the illegal supply of wholesale batches of aircraft engines to the aggressor country. The invaders used the obtained products for the production and repair of attack helicopters.
The suspects were taken into custody.
