Ukrzaliznytsia works towards restoring link with Kherson

Oleksandr Kamyshin, CEO of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), visited the liberated Kherson and pledged to restore the rail link with the city soon.

"Long day. But we had to get to Kherson. Assess the damage, coordinate with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the authorities, organize a team for the earliest restoration of the rail link with Kherson," Kamyshin posted on Telegram.

As noted, mine clearance is carried out fast but still takes time.

"We will fix the damaged tracks and broken railcars quickly," he promised.

"The station is in its place. People are waiting. So, a train to Kherson will be launched soon," the CEO of Ukrzaliznytsia assured.

On Friday, November 11, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine was restoring control over Kherson, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were entering the city.
