Kherson receives 125 tonnes of humanitarian cargo from UN
Another humanitarian cargo from the United Nations Office arrived in Kherson.
Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Drinking water, containers and water purifiers, medicines, hygiene kits, pillows, blankets, solar lamps and other necessary things were delivered for the people of Kherson. A total of 125 tonnes. Six UN agencies and five international organizations collected aid for us," the region’s head wrote.
Yanushevych also reported that Kherson region continues to receive aid from other regions of Ukraine. Today, Kherson region received more than 60 tonnes of humanitarian aid from Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr communities. The aid includes food products, drinking water, portable stoves and hygiene kits.
As Ukrinform reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces regained control of Kherson on November 11. The city was occupied by the Russian invaders since early March.
