National Guard members in Ternopil donate more than 10 liters of blood for wounded comrades
In Ternopil, western Ukraine, the National Guard members donated more than 10 liters of blood for their wounded comrades-in-arms.
"In Ternopil, the National Guard members donated blood for wounded service members of the National Guard and the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are defending our country from Russian aggression," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
Before donating blood, the donors were examined by doctors. The military replenished the blood bank by more than 10 liters in total.
"Donating blood is now our duty to the defenders to thank them for their daily feat," said Andriy, chief sergeant of one of the units of the National Guard of Ukraine.
By their example, the National Guard members call on the residents of Ternopil and all Ukrainians to donate blood that can preserve the life and health of military personnel and civilians.
