More than 100 wounded Ukrainian soldiers receiving treatment in Poland

To date, more than 100 Ukrainian service members are being treated in Polish hospitals, as well as approximately 2,000-3,000 Ukrainian civilians.

Polish Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski said this in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent.

According to the minister, more than 100 service members have been transported to Poland by special trains. Also, Ukrainian military personnel arrive for rehabilitation by other means of transport.

Niedzielski emphasized that the Polish side is open for cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health and "is trying to arrange transport (for the transportation of victims - ed.) as soon as such a need arises."

He noted that Poland receives Ukrainians who need medical treatment as a result of Russia's armed aggression and those Ukrainians who seek medical treatment for serious illnesses.

"To date, the number of civilian patients from Ukraine in Polish hospitals is estimated at 2,000-3,000,” the Polish minister emphasized.
