President Zelensky presents state awards to power engineers

Ukrainian energy workers are now the defenders of society, economy and the country’s future in general.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky when presenting state awards to energy workers on the occasion of their professional day, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to power engineers, who are working day and night to ensure that Ukrainian households are provided with electricity.

“Defenders of our lives, people, state, our society, economy and, in general, I’m sure, our future. […] I congratulate all of you, all Ukrainian energy workers, on your professional holiday,” Zelensky said.

In his words, Ukrainian workers in the energy industry are among those who, with their attention and conscientiousness, ensure the future victory of Ukraine.
