Ukrainian rescuers leave for Turkey

A search and rescue team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has left for Turkey to help eliminate the consequences of earthquakes.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The combined search and rescue team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has left for Turkey. Almost 90 rescuers and 10 search and rescue dogs will start work on eliminating the consequences of the terrible earthquakes as soon as possible," he wrote.

According to Klymenko, Ukrainian specialists have the necessary experience and equipment. Their skills will certainly help their Turkish colleagues.

The minister also expressed condolences to the Turkish people and the relatives of all the victims.
