Another 20 Ukrainians evacuated to EU countries for treatment
This week, 20 Ukrainians were evacuated to European Union countries for treatment, according to the Ministry of Health.
"This week, 20 Ukrainians were evacuated for treatment at EU clinics. The group includes patients with mine blast injuries and cancer patients," the ministry wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The Ministry of Health added that Ukrainian patients were admitted to medical facilities in Denmark, Germany and Norway.
In total, more than 2,800 Ukrainians have already been evacuated to receive medical assistance in the EU.
As reported, the first ladies of Ukraine and Poland, Olena Zelenska and Agata Kornhauser-Duda, discussed cooperation within the HEMS program on the training of Ukrainian emergency medicine doctors and the training of Ukrainian doctors in Polish burn centers.
