Government discusses military transition to civilian life

The government discussed the veterans' policy and the Concept of the military transition to civilian life.

According to Ukrinform, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported this on Telegram.

"I considered the proposals of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Education and Science. I instructed the ministries to speed up drafting and submission of resolutions and bills necessary for the military transition to civilian life," Shmyhal wrote.

He added that the government is working on a military-to-civilian life transition strategy. It will include economic freedom, housing, social support, education, and health care.

As reported, a project on psychosocial support for veterans was presented in Kyiv.
