Ukraine's ombudsman signs memorandum with Danish Refugee Council
The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the office of the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine.
The press service of the Ombudsman's Office said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The memorandum envisages close cooperation in the provision of technical, financial, advisory and other assistance with a view to increasing the capacity of the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights with the involvement of national and international experts, preparing and distributing information materials for the affected population and other areas," the post said.
Lubinets noted that the support of this organization is valuable for the Commissioner's Secretariat and the country. He informed partners about the activities of the Ombudsman's Office.
He spoke about the activities of the Secretariat in terms of the protection of the rights of children and IDPs and the need to expand the network of representative offices of the Commissioner in different regions of Ukraine.
The Ombudsman's Office expressed gratitude to the Danish Refugee Council's office in Ukraine for its support.
