Almost 80% of Ukrainians positively rate the state's foreign policy - survey
Regarding the foreign policy of the Ukrainian authorities during the war, 78% of respondents rated positively, while only 6% were negative.
A director of the Razumkov Center Sociological Service, Andriy Bychenko, said this during a presentation of the sociological survey at Ukrinform.
"Almost 80% of citizens rate the foreign policy of the Ukrainian authorities positively: 38.2% - positively, 39.9% - rather positively. Negative answers were given by 6% of respondents: 4.3% - rather negative, 1.5% - negative, 16.1% - difficult to answer," Bychenko said.
According to the survey, citizens believe that the foreign policy of Ukraine is quite effective in all directions. In particular, the policy of strengthening Ukraine's relations with countries and international organizations is positively assessed by 85.6%, the policy of disseminating objective information - 86.2%, improving Ukraine's international image and authority - 86.2%, providing external support to resist Russian aggression - 86%, promoting Ukrainian initiatives on international platforms - 85.6%, integration into the EU - 81.2%, integration into NATO - 77.6%, protecting the rights of Ukrainians abroad - 72.4%, and promoting the interests of Ukrainian business in global markets - 67%.
Sociologists engaged in the survey 2020 respondents aged 18 and older. Statistical deviations do not exceed 2.3%. However, additional systematic sample deviations may be caused by consequences of Russian aggression, including the forced evacuation of millions of citizens.
The survey was conducted in February-March 2023 by the Razumkov Center Sociological Service in all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson regions, Crimea and territories where hostilities are taking place.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, 93% of Ukrainians believe in Ukraine's victory in the war started by Russia.
