UNFPA centers providing social, psychological aid to Ukrainians
International organizations, including UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund Ukraine), continue to provide assistance to Ukrainians who were forced to flee their homes due to the war.
As reported by Ukrinform with reference to the website of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, specialists provide social and psychological support in special centers deployed across the country.
"There you can get advice on legal issues, medical and humanitarian aid, government payments, temporary shelter, as well as psychological support," the statement says.
The centers operate in Poltava, Zaporizhia, Lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Mukachevo.
As reported, the impact of war on psychological health is inevitable, but taking care of mental health is just as important as physical health. Free services offering psychological assistance during the war are available to all Ukrainians.
